Funny story! Yak Fish was actually started back when I first met my now wife in college. We had to make a design team name for a project and Yak Fish was the name. Years after college, my wife and I reconnected because of  my sister passing due to a drunk driver in 2020. We began to use mushroom therapy to help me heal and coupe with the mourning of my sister. I felt so much ease and this led to us moving from Ohio to Colorado in 2021.

Our love for mycology started in Colorado when we stumbled upon wild mushroom foraging in Winter Park. We treasure everything this state gives and we love giving back to the people who are part of it. And that's what Yak Fish is all about.
